In the early 1990’s August Lotz began to manufacture Convertible Sofa frames. Our quality was recognized as the best in the
industry and we began to market our frames with our own Universal Comfort mattresses through retailers nationwide.
Today we continue to manufacturer our brand name frames while maintaining our quality as underlined by our
Consumer Digest Best Buy Award.

Universal Comfort mattresses by August Lotz are made with care and craftsmanship. We will and do put our mattresses up against any
competitor. We use tested materials to provide maximum comfort for our customers. We offer standard fabrics but have access to all
available materials and prints for our tufted on covers. We began producing
Universal Comfort Mattresses to complete
our convertible sofa product. Our mattresses are now also in high demand for Recreational Vehicle bedding.
