Our customer had a great opportunity to supply a 1000 room construction project in the Southeast United States. The problem was that they needed 1000’s of quality engineered wood furniture (desks, tables, beds, nightstands, entertainment centers, desk chairs, chest, etc.) to begin delivering in ten weeks.
Quantities per item ranged from 1000 each to as low as 5 each. To add one more variable to the situation, the customer’s budget did not allow for domestic manufacturing prices.
We were excited to work through this opportunity with them. Because of open and consistent communication we were able to work with our resources to start shipping the high volume products from one of our off shore facilities within six weeks of them receiving the order. The smaller volume products we produced domestically and matched finishes to our customer’s satisfaction.
We truly utilized all of our expertise in a number of different areas of operation to deliver what the customer needed. Our engineering department came through with design in a timely basis. Our logistics operation coordinated the containers to arrive when needed and our production facilities delivered high quality product on time and on specification.
