August Lotz has been producing wood products for over 100 years. We have a rich history of producing functional high quality products and backing this up with a commitment to service before and after the sale.
We started in the 1800’s making bee keeping equipment. As demand changed and opportunities presented themselves, we started to produce wood component parts that other companies used in the production and assembly of their finished product. This step led to producing a variety of furniture parts.
In the 1990’s we engineered and developed our own line of convertible sofa furniture that we still provide today. Our convertible sofas are the best in the industry as witnessed by our Consumer’s Digest Best Buy Award. In addition, because of our delivery process to the market, the best value in the market. We also produce the highest quality mattresses to go along with the convertible sofas.
In addition to our stock lines we produce made to order institutional furniture. To provide our customers the best value and delivery we have domestic manufacturing capabilities as well as an off shore network of manufacturing facilities. Our domestic manufacturing is done through our sister company, SourceCut Industries, Inc. We have the unique capability to provide smaller jobs or time sensitive jobs that do not fit the import model through one of our two domestic manufacturing facilities, as well as the ability and experience to provide a quality import product that is price sensitive and has the time window for import.
